Well sort of. According to reports, Jennifer Lopez shook her curvaceous rear in so vigorous a fashion that riots of a legendary variety erupted in every area of Morocco. I mean, when I see that picture perfect booty I know I just want to run the streets in reckless abandon, drooling at the mouth and frothing with unbridled lust. But somehow I find the resolve to restrain myself.
But it’s true; our lovely J. Lo is being sued after performing in the North African Nation on May 29th. It certainly did not help the matter that her performance was publically broadcasted, considering it gave more people the opportunity to take to the streets after being coaxed by her furiously shaking back saddles. The lawsuit contends that there was an overemphasis on booty shaking, both J. Lo’s booty and the booties of her dancers. The education group that filed the suit alleged that J. Lo “disturbed public order and tarnished women’s honor and respect” by wearing skimpy outfits and highlighting her derriere all over Televisions in Morocco.
The show took place at the Magazine World Rhymes International Music Festival and it’s true that it did feature revealing outfits and sensual, perhaps even erotic, dance moves where J. Lo and her dancers flaunted their backside assets without deference to decency. It’s also true that some are calling for the minister of communications in Morocco to resign because he allowed such risqué moves to tarnish the minds of the greater public. But it’s also true that if women’s honor and respect could be tarnished by a single musician, I am afraid our ladies are in a world of trouble. Now, as unlikely as it is that J. Lo will be found guilty, if she were, I imagine the prison where she would be holding residence for 1 month to 2 years would be quite bumping.
