More bad news are coming this week. In Japan there was a mass killing. The attack was outside the Tokyo in a disabled facility.
The attacker turned himself and said: “I want to get rid of the disabled from this world.”
The attacker started his mission of killing disabled people on Tuesday morning. He killed 19 and wounded 20 people. It is the worst attack since WW II.
Report about mass killing
Authorities received a call at 2:30 a.m. from the employee of the center (Tsukui Yamayuri-en). He reported that a guy has entered a building with a knife.
The suspect is Satoshi Uematsu, 26-year-old man. He actually worked in a facility that is located in Sagamihara. It is around 30 miles from Tokyo- west side.
The victims range at age from 41-67, men. Among them were 10 women, they were ranging at age from 18-70. They all were residents of this center.
After the investigation police said, he entered with 3 knifes. He also had a cable tie and tied the stuff of the facility.
He resigned this February because of personal reason, it is reported. He has worked there from December 2012.
When he turned himself, he had a bag with knifes and some sharp tools that were covered with blood.
This event shocked whole Japan. People who have knew Satoshi said he was nice and calm guy. When he worked in a facility he was seen with residents, holding them and caring about them. What happened to him that he started to hate these people, who knows.
Massive attacks in Japan are rare. One was in 2001. when a man attacked children in school, Osaka. He killed 8 children and 15 were injured. He was also stabbing them.
In 2008 a guy stabbed passersby after he plowed his truck into a crowd. The attack was in Tokyo’s Akihabara district and he killed 7 and injured 10 people.
